Don't just admire, help out!

So if you're saying that these are great animals, then your right. But what I haven't mentioned is that most of these are hunted, killed and slaughtered. So if you want to help these animals then please be kind and donate what you can to help preserve the Wild Life of Africa through the African Wild Life Foundation.
There mission you ask, let me tell you.
"The African Wildlife Foundation, together with the people of Africa, works to ensure the wildlife and wild lands of Africa will endure forever."

It's a great cause and I hope you can appreciate this beauty as much as I do and maybe contribute, and I am not just preaching to you for points, I donate regularly.

Rhinoceros

File:Diceros bicornis.jpg
Look at the amazing Monster!! I don't think the big bad wolf would stand a chance. Or any other animal I have listed so far. Mostly because of its massive 2.2 tons of weight, 5.5 feet of height, and 12 feet in length. I wouldn't even try to run into it with a bulldozer. Would you? I saved this animal for last because this picture really speaks for itself. It may not be fast but when it catches a little bit of a swift, you better not be in the way of that Monster!!! What a creature. Look at the skin, so durable and tough. I know you're thinking it needs some lotion or a pedicure but that's what gives it characteristic. I mean, if you make it nice, cute and pretty, no other animal would be scared of it and give it the respect it has. That's true genius by our great God.

African Lion

Well this animal is so well known I don't think I will go into much detail about it. The lion travels in packs of 13 or 15 others, and eats about 11 pounds of meat in ONE DAY! Can you try eating that much meat in one day, you'll explode!!

C..h..e..e..t..a..h..

So Africa has largest land mammal, could it possible they also house the fastest land mammal in the world???
I have to break it to you, YES! The Cheetah, can travel 80-100 K/h and whats amazing is that it can reach its maximum speed in just over three seconds. Pretty fast, which means a game of catch me if you can isn't that smart. If you're even thinking that your car can go faster than that, you're wrong. It's faster than a lot of SUPER CARS! Faster than Ferrari's!!! So if you drive a little Merc or Honda, don't bother. One of the only cars faster than this animal is the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Super Sport, which can do null to 100 kilometers in 3.2 seconds. Think about that..

African Elephant

Ever wonder what the largest mammal on earth was??? Hmmm, give up? Fine I'll help you, it's ears are massive. Here's another few clues; it can grow up to 3.5 meters, weigh up to 6 tons, live on average to the age of 60, eat for 16 hours of the day and drink about 160 liters of water, per day!
If you couldn't figure it out from the title of the post, I'll just tell you; the African Elephant. What an amazing animal.

Look at those ears..

Panthera Pardus Leopard

This 200 lb, 2.3 meter long and 28 inch tall beast is known as the African Leopard. And if you think you can out live this small kitten think again, they live on average for 15 - 25 years in the wild life of Africa. I would recommend not to try to pet one of these if you encounter it. One can't help but admit how gorgeous this animal really is, and you can't forget this animal can reach speeds of 60 miles an hour for brief seconds if it needs, and that's thanks to its massive legs.

RAAARRRR!!!!!

Lycaon Pictus

Found especially in the Savannas and lightly wooded areas is the Lycaon Pictus, basically an angry dog. But to specific, it's a canid - a member from the Wolf, Fox, Jackals, Cayotes and Domestic Dogs family. It is very violent and a carnivore, maybe not a pet to have at home but must be great to hunt with, although it might jsut eat what you wanted for dinner.

And if you ask me, I don't think it's a good looking dog, at least in this picture. Could be because it doesn't have a groomer hahhaaha

About this BLOG!

If you're wondering what this blog will be about, let me explain. I will be talking about different animals that are found in Africa, some interesting and some rare. Or just animals I like. Enjoy..

The African Wild Ass

What an animal, it has the legs of a Zebra and the top of a Donkey hahaha
and look at its ears, it looks like a Jack Rabbit threw its hat to give it the finishing touches.
Actually it is a part of the horse family and is what is known to be the Modern Donkey. The incredible thing about it is that there are only about 570 the exist in the world; which can be found in Sudan, Egypt and Libya.
